Holy Other: “Touch”

As you’ll see once we get closer to the top of my this very list, I’m a complete sucker for musicians that can manipulate one line of a vocal, bully it into submission and come away with an entirely free-standing and inventive song that makes me crumble.

Berlin’s Holy Other morphs “I’ve been looking for your touch” into four minutes of glorious beats, bass hits and synth landscapes that simply aren’t done enough justice by referring to them as “ghostly”. I don’t even want to admit how many times over the past year that I’ve found myself lost inside a fog of thought, staring straight ahead at the wall instead of working while “Touch” pulsed through my headphones.
