It’s pissing rain here in Portland today, the folks upstairs sound like they are building at least two pyramids making it impossible to concentrate on work and I’m still fighting off the last little bits of a cold that have left me with the kind of cough that makes people shake their heads you at and mutter, “Oh, he definitely shouldn’t be smoking.” (FYI: I don’t smoke).

Nevertheless, a powerful combination of Oxfordian beauty in the form of Jonquil and Baltimore grime in the form of Co La have combined their ultra mighty forces and helped stave off an even more dastardly further plunge into the depths of this already somewhat miserable Friday. Add to that a dash of Young Adult finally playing on a screen here in town and a planned trip for this evening to eat truly horrible/wonderful culinary treats and I can officially confirm that today will turn out just fine.
